A+ PC Technician with Artificial Intelligence (AI) Essentials & AI Help Desk Essentials

Description: This course is designed for someone who is interested in Computer Help Desk Support and/or Computer Hardware/Software Repair with AI (Artificial Intelligence). In today’s job market, having the correct skills and qualifications will ensure you a competitive chance at achieving your employment goals. This course will allow the student to first learn installation, troubleshooting, and upgrading of PC computers. The class is focused with HANDS-ON experience by assembling/disassembling a computer, installing and configuring different operating systems (Windows 7/8/10/11, Linux, and MAC OS X), and an introduction to Mobile Platforms (iOS & Android), Networking, Security, Customer Service, and the Internet. You’ll also have the option to learn how generative AI tools and techniques are used in IT Support.  The next module of this course is called AI Essentials.  CompTIA AI Essentials is a beginner?friendly course that shows you how to use AI assistants like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini to do your job faster and better. You’ll learn what generative AI is, how to write effective prompts, how to avoid bad outputs, and how to plug AI into your everyday work. The final module is CompTIA AI Help Desk Essentials which gives tech support professionals hands-on practice using generative AI in real help desk scenarios. You’ll learn to summarize and route tickets, diagnose incidents, analyze logs and error messages, draft user communications, and create reusable support documentation, then validate your skills with a CompTIA CompCert. After completing both of these A+ exams for certification, students can qualify to work as a Computer Repair Technician and/or a Computer Help Desk Support Specialist.
