Description: Our Web Design Combination Package instructs the student on four intermediate and advanced topics (i.e. HTML 5.0, Dreamweaver CS6, WordPress, and Photoshop CS6). First, the student will learn the intermediate skills of web documents by understanding the HTML language, which is the underlying code of the web pages you see on the Internet. Secondly, the students will learn how to use an HTML Editor program called Dreamweaver CS6 to construct their own web pages. Then the student will learn how to create and manage a website with one of the most popular content management systems on the internet called WordPress. Finally, the student will be instructed on image editing by using a powerful image editing software called Photoshop CS6. Once the intermediate level of these four modules (i.e HTML 5.0, Dreamweaver CS6, WordPress, Photoshop CS6) have been completed, the student will then begin the advanced section of this course. The advanced section of this course will cover the same modules as listed above, but the student will go into more detail on each module. For example, the student will learn on how to enhance their web pages, how to construct more creative HTML layouts in Dreamweaver, how to add plug-ins and widgets in their WordPress site, and finally how to work with layers and filters in Photoshop. These are just some of the advanced topics that students will cover in the latter part of this course. A student who covers all of these topics will have an extensive overall background in Web Design and will have the skills to start developing their own websites.
