Description: This combination course is designed for someone who is interested in Computer Repair, Help Desk Support, Computer Networking, and Cybersecurity Specialist. In today’s job market, having the correct combination of skills and qualifications will ensure you a competitive chance at achieving your employment goals. This course will allow the student to first concentrate on his or her CompTIA A+ PC Technician certification which will allow the student to learn installation, troubleshooting, and upgrading of PC computers. The class is focused with HANDS-ON experience by assembling/disassembling a computer and installing different windows operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7/8/10/11, etc.). The second part of this course focuses on the CompTIA Network + Certification. This part of the course will discuss Media & Topologies, Protocols (i.e. TCP/IP) & Standards (i.e. OSI Network Model), Network Implementation, Network Support, and Troubleshooting. During the third MS-900 Fundamentals module, through a mix of videos, assessments, and hands-on activities, you’ll develop a strong foundation in IT support fundamentals, networking, software, hardware, and data backup, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, and Troubleshooting Diagnostics. You’ll also have the option to learn how generative AI tools and techniques are used in IT Support. The final module of this course is called AI Essentials which will help you understand AI Concepts, tools, ethical considerations, preparing you to navigate AI-driven environments confidently. After completing all the exams for certification, students can qualify to work as a Computer Technician, Field Technician, Network/Cybersecurity Support Specialist, or a Desktop Support Specialist.
