Studying these four core topics will enable a student to install, configure, and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols, and services. Next, the student will achieve HANDS-ON experience about Cisco hardware and Cisco’s IOS (Internetwork Operating System) by learning how to Install, Configure, and Operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks, especially dealing with the following Networking Protocols: IP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, ISDN, and Access Lists. The students will also learn how to configure new graphical user interfaces such as SDM (routers) and CNA (switches).  In conclusion, a student who has achieved Network+ & CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification will be more competitive in the job market and will have a greater success rate in the Information Technology arena.
